Terms of Use
Last updated October 11, 2026
These terms apply to the Surf Tracking apps for iPhone and Apple Watch and to this website (together, “the service”). Surf Tracking is developed by Anton Yezub, an individual developer based in Indonesia (“we”, “us”).
1. Accepting these terms
By downloading or using the service you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to apps from the App Store. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live.
2. What the service does
Surf Tracking records surf sessions on Apple Watch using GPS and motion sensors, detects rides, and shows your sessions, waves and statistics on iPhone. With your permission it reads and writes workout data in Apple Health. Features may change, and some may not be available on every device or in every region.
3. Estimates, not measurements
Wave counts, distances, speeds, heart-rate zones, energy and other statistics are estimates based on consumer sensors. GPS on the water is less accurate than on land, and waves can be missed or detected by mistake. Don’t rely on the service for navigation, safety, medical or training decisions.
4. Your safety
Surfing is dangerous. You alone are responsible for judging conditions, your ability and your equipment. Don’t look at or operate your watch when it isn’t safe to do so. The service is not a safety, rescue or emergency device and is not a medical device.
5. Surf Tracking Pro subscription
- Some features require Surf Tracking Pro, an optional auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store. Prices and periods are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active until it ends.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t copy, resell, reverse engineer or disrupt the service, don’t use it to break the law, and don’t try to access data that isn’t yours.
7. Your data and content
Your sessions belong to you. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy. When you share an image or export a session, you decide where it goes, and the terms of the receiving service apply.
8. Intellectual property
The apps, design, text and graphics are owned by Anton Yezub. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service on Apple devices you own or control, under the App Store Usage Rules.
9. Third-party services
The service relies on Apple services such as Apple Health, Apple Maps and the App Store. Map imagery is provided by Apple and its data providers. We’re not responsible for third-party services or their availability.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for injury, loss of data or loss of profits arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the service after an update, the new terms apply.
